Charbel Khneisser

Charbel Khneisser is Vice President of Solutions Engineering for EMEA at Riverbed Technology since January 2022, and prior to this, he has held several presales roles at Riverbed in the Middle East region since joining the company in 2013. Charbel is currently responsible for strategically and tactically driving technical sales across Riverbed’s comprehensive portfolio of unified observability and acceleration solutions. He will also have a major focus on cross-functional alignment, best-practice development and knowledge sharing, as well as inspiring Riverbed’s SE community across the EMEA region. Charbel has 18+ years’ technical experience in the IT industry encompassing Networking concepts, Application architectures, Security models and Service Management tools comprising of NPM/APM/FM. During his career, Charbel had held several major roles which included being the Solution Architect Lead Consultant for the Saudi Ministry of Communication & IT (MCIT) where he was responsible for managing and implementing the Yesser eGovernment program and the Saudi National Digital Certification Center NCDC (PKI) that guaranteed a secure exchange mechanism. In addition, Charbel currently lectures in the Faculty of Engineering at Saint Joseph University to graduates undertaking a first year Master’s Degree.
